Wild Side is the third and final installment in Silver’s Rose Hill Series. The novel is preceded by the titles Wild Love (2024) and Wild Eyes (2024). All three of the Rose Hill novels take place in the small Canadian town of Rose Hill, situated between Vancouver and Calgary. Secondary characters recur in each book. For example, Wild Love traces Ford Grant Jr.’s and Rosalie (Rosie) Belmont’s love story. These protagonists are either related to or close friends with characters Weston (West) Belmont, Skylar Stone, Rhys Dupris, and Tabitha Garrison, all of whom appear in Wild Eyes and Wild Side. Each book acts as a standalone novel but also functions as a part of a wider fictional universe. The Rose Hill Series is also loosely connected to Silver’s preceding Chestnut Springs and Gold Rush Ranch Series—characters from these small-town romances reappear in the margins of the Rose Hill titles.
In Wild Love, Silver introduces the Rose Hill world and its primary characters and conflicts. In this seminal title, Ford Grant and Rosie Belmont rekindle their childhood crush when they both move back to their Rose Hill hometown.
